How to Get OK-to-Board for Egypt

- 03We submit the request to your airlineWith EgyptAir or Ethiopian Airlines, OK-to-Board is usually confirmed within 24–48 hours. Other airlines vary, so we advise applying at least 3 days before departure.
- 04Your airline responds, and we tell youOnce your airline confirms the required boarding clearance, you can proceed with your travel preparations. We explain what to expect before you travel.
OK-to-Board is not a visa
It is a clearance an airline records on your booking before letting you fly. It confirms that your travel details have been checked and that the airline can carry you. The entry and visa process at Cairo Airport depends on your nationality, passport, airline and the requirements applicable to your trip, and is decided separately by the Egyptian authorities. Requirements can change — confirm with the relevant Egyptian authority and your airline before travel.
